St John’s Waterloo is a landmark building at the heart of the South Bank, home to the UK’s only academy orchestra, the annual Waterloo arts and community festival, and much-lauded employment courses and skills training. It is on track to become the first carbon neutral church in London.
We are hosting a gala dinner on Wednesday 22nd April 2020 and would be delighted if you would join us. We are inviting local residents, employers, cultural and community leaders - everyone who cares about Waterloo - to come together for an evening of fine food, wine, live music and an auction.
St John's in partnership with The Bridge at Waterloo is carrying out a £5 million project, Reignite, that will see both church and crypt restored and renovated so that this Grade II* building, the most central church in London, can better serve the communities of Waterloo as a place to recharge, replenish and connect.
The dinner will celebrate our progress, in advance of our closure for the building work which begins in July. We will be entertained by the Pimlico Academy Steel Band and by chamber music by members of Southbank Sinfonia. The evening will be MC'd by Daniel Gregory.
Tickets are £60 each, or £400 for a table of eight.
Please join us and tell your friends and colleagues!
